What was the inspiration behind your new home?
We have always liked the warm country feel and this time also wanted to include the beautiful ocean.
Why did you choose to build a custom home?
We had a lot of our own ideas that we wanted to include and sometimes you have some changes along the way. With a custom builder you have some room to do that.
What was the highlight of this build for you?
Moving in. We were so excited to be in our new home. It was everything we could have hoped for and more.
What were some challenges you had with this build?
Just the usual delays with some trades.
Why did you choose Pickard Construction to build your home?
A referral from a realtor. Then we met Charlie and Sheila and knew it would be a great fit.
What is your favourite feature in the home?
The wood work for sure.
